The Plumber’s Wife started with plumbing, but it didn’t stay there.
What began as a showroom connected to the plumbing world grew into something more. We saw how often homeowners were left trying to piece together their renovations on their own - choosing a faucet here, tile there, a vanity somewhere else, while trying to figure out how everything would actually work together.
We wanted to make that part easier.
Today, The Plumber’s Wife brings design, plumbing knowledge, renovation experience and a carefully curated retail experience together under one roof. Our plumbing fixture showroom gives homeowners the opportunity to see and experience products in person, from faucets and vanities to shower systems and more. And our home décor and retail collection brings in those finishing pieces that make a house feel like home.
The showroom is where all of that comes together. We help homeowners take all of those decisions and turn them into a space that feels cohesive, functional and personal.
And because we come from the plumbing (Whiteway Plumbing) and construction (Wellington County Craftsman) side of renovation, we look at design a little differently. We know that the pretty part is only part of the story. A fixture needs to work with the plumbing behind it. A beautiful bathroom still needs to function every day. The finishes need to work together, but they also need to work with the way your home is being built.
That practical knowledge is a big part of our approach.
We also believe your home shouldn't feel like it came straight out of a showroom. We love thoughtful details, beautiful materials, texture and timeless design, but we’re designing for real homes and real people. Homes that get lived in, used, gathered in and occasionally have a dog running through them.
